Mosaic provides their clients with a fully curated, single source of truth customer master data management service. Mosaic can use any commercial source to support initialization of the master. Initialization includes the match and merge process to distill a single master set of customers and a validation process to ensure the accuracy of the customer demographic data.

Initialization may include the development of a complex network of relationships between customer entities including Group Practices, Medical Groups, IDNs and GPOs. A dedicated team of Mosaic analysts work to maintain the accuracy of these relationships over time. The commercial organization uses a web-based interface called Dynamic Customer Maintenance (DCM) to manage customer master data. Mosaic clients have on demand access to the data curation team.

Mosaic establishes and maintains the link between a customer entity like an HCP, a Hospital or a Medical Group and data sources like DDD and Source Non-Retail, Specialty Pharmacies or other non-retail data sets such as 844 chargeback data. Mosaic employs an iterative development process to minimize the time and effort required on the part of the Sales Operations team. Ty Sadler joined Solvay as a Sales Representative in 2002 after spending several years in marketing, promotion, and talent management in the music industry. He won consecutive President’s Club awards as a GI Specialty Representative in the competitive NYC market. Ty joined Sales Operations in 2004. He was responsible for customer master management, field communications, sample management, meetings and conventions, state regulation, and access management. Ty earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and English Literature from The University of the South.

Mark Hastings leads the Mosaic team. Mark began his career in 1992 as a sales rep at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals where he contributed to the launch of nine products over five years. At Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Mark served in roles within market research, business analysis, sales systems, and sales information. As the Director of Sales Operations, Mark led a team of 30 with responsibility for all aspects of sales operations, including sales information, sales analysis, decision science, and incentive compensation. In addition to meeting the needs of more than a 1,000 field sales reps, Mark was responsible for large multi-year projects that included the development of a data warehouse, deployment of a new SFA, and numerous company co-promotions and integrations. Mark earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences from New College of Florida.

Jack Mathews leads our technical team. Jack began his career as a programmer, developer, and database architect contracted to Intel in 1985, followed by work at APCO, a graphics company. In 1992 Jack went to Coca-Cola where he developed a variety of business applications. At Bellsouth Cellular, Jack develop the first Unix based telecom billing package. As a data-warehousing architect for NDC Health, Jack received a national Smithsonian award in 1998 for development work he did for their pharmaceutical professional services. Jack moved on to manage the data integration work for Advance Paradigm’s merger with PCS. After 2 years running data-warehouse consulting projects for Unisys, Jack joined Solvay full time in 2006 with responsibility for all data operations.

At TransUnion, Minh developed an early windows-based CRM package, as well as back office operational systems. Minh went to Aeronomics in 1998 where he developed pricing optimization algorithms for a variety of industries, including media and airlines. Minh and Jack reunited at NDC where their collaboration was recognized with the national Smithsonian award in 1998. Minh then did additional work in telecommunications and web services before joining Jack once again at Advance Paradigm and Unisys and eventually Solvay where he developed innovative data processing and analytic applications.
